HELP SAVE OUR FROGS - A TIME TO UNITE
This delightful couple joined me for a shower in Fiji...
I have had many entertaining encounters with frogs. When I left Jellewang Jungle to catch a flight from Khota Bharu to Kuala Lumpar I quickly grab my hiking boots chucked them in a carrier bag and put them in the over head compartment on the plane.
On arrival in KL I opened the compartment only to notice my bag was moving about? - at first I thought it may have been a small snake from the Jungle that had sort comfort in one of my boots. I was a bit nervous as I had an ongoing flight to Sydney, Australia. God knows what customs would say! I decided to go straight to the disabled toliets to take a private peek. To my surprise and relief a great big smiley frog stared out from my boot. Golly, how do I explain this.
I left the toilet went through to arrivals only to be harressed by the local taxi drivers. I didn't need a taxi as I was off to Sydney, however, I knew someone that did. When I asked the poor taxi driver if he could take my frog to the pond outside the airport he thought I was joking. I smiled sweetly showed him my boot and gave him a little wink, then off he went to the middle of the field with my boot and my new best friend from Jellewang! - what a beautiful memory.
